Barry Zito's ship came in

Zito, who will be formally introduced as a member of the Giants this week, signed the largest contract ever given to a Major League pitcher: $126 million for seven years The 28-year-old made $7.9 million with the Oakland A's last season. Working 221 innings in 34 outings, he threw 3,666 pitches, which works out to about $2,155 per pitch.
